We've been trying to work with Payton on who is a boy and who is a girl. Last night she'd just gotten out of the bath and she was standing on the bed getting ready to jump to me. I noticed she was looking at my hair and she said "You girl, mommy?" I said "That's right, Payton! Mommy is a girl." She thought for a second and said "Payton a girl?" I praised her again and told her she was right. She looked at me real close again and studied my face and asked again "You boy, Mommy?" Ahhhh....I think we still have some work to do on this one :)

That was a hard one for Abi to get too. Just had to go over it again, again, again, again,.......
Funny it was easier for her to tell you if you were a Prince or Princess than it was boy or girl...go figure.

That's great. I am just starting this with Keith
It sounds like you have a great start though. I love the picture. She is so sweet.
Cute picture! Have you shown her the identifiable difference between boys and girls? Caleb didn't get it until Laurel was born, and he actually 'saw' the difference. He was like "What's that!?!?" I told him, that is what makes Laurel a girl. He didn't have too much confusion after that.
Yeah we are getting there... slowly...
Trying to get he/she at the moment, he knows that he is boy and she is girl but will say something like Look mummy, he's a girl! LOL
So cute. She will get it soon.
Love the picture!
It will come.
You're just "mommy," you defy all genders!
